The room, spa and overall setting.

On my four-night stay in March 2026, the approach to the resort already felt like a departure from the city. Our King Room with Pool View was exceptionally spacious, with a comfortable seating area by the window. It made an inviting place to retreat between meals and time outdoors.

The spa was a highlight, both for its calm atmosphere and the treatments. In the evenings, the rooftop lounge worked well for sundowners and a light dinner; the lamb chops were a particularly good choice during my stay.

Terra Secca was a particular highlight.

Terra Secca became the restaurant we returned to three times in four nights. The consistency stood out, from the beef and seafood to a very good pepperoni pizza. For a short break, that pleasure of finding somewhere you want to return to can be as valuable as trying something different each evening.

Who I would recommend it to.

Couples and travellers looking for a restful desert stay, with dining and spa time as part of the holiday. You could make it a standalone break or discuss adding it to time in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

One point worth considering.

Even in March, the unusually high temperatures during my visit made extended pool time difficult after late morning. The time of year and your comfort with heat should shape the plan. We would also check current restaurant opening times, room choices and transfer arrangements for your dates.

Based on my own stay or visit, as noted above. I will check current facilities, inclusions and booking terms when we discuss your dates.
